What is a good complete golf set for a beginer?

I just took up an interest in golf and would like to know what a good golf set for me would be for around $200 or $250?

A good complete golf set around $200 or $250 ? I think you have to get a used one. Then you can have a look at ebay. However ,if you want a new good complete golf set , i’m afraid you must you have to pay a little more . There is a TaylorMade Tour Burner Iron Set very cheap at wowogolf.com .It may fit for you.You may have a try . Good luck !

Hey I’m going thorugh the same thing. I recomend the callaway gems set cause it is so easy to use and a beginner gets a really good feel for it quickly. Alhtough it only comes with eight clubs its actually better to start with a limited number and then build up by adding more clubs. good luck

From a pawnshop or craigslist. You will need a Driver, 3-wood and irons from 3-9 plus a putter.
Just make sure you spend lots of time at the driving range hitting balls with all the clubs to get a feeling for distance and accuracy.
Good luck..I play golf every week when I can.

cheap. I bought my first set of dunlops for $90 brand new. I used those for the first few years i played. The cost of the clubs does not mean a thing, I’ve beat friends with really expensive clubs by 20 strokes. I shot 3 over with that first set of clubs I had.
